Phriday Photo XVI

On page 19 of Birmingham International Airport's Report & Accounts (2007-2008) was a little surprise. To illustrate the in-depth security procedures was a collage, including a picture of an x-ray of a luggage item...

Let's hope that BIA insists on a greater attention to detail during their security checks than they do in their graphic design.

You have to hand it to the photoshop person that made up the suitcase, cannot believe they got away with it!
You'd think that someone in marketing would have spotted it and picked up a bad vibe.

@UDH - Are you saying it was a photoshop job?? I just assumed that they waited for the next plane back from Kos and took a few snaps...

I'll bet they get some quality traffic through BIA :-)

Now, your (un) veiled jibe at the fine people of Birmingham will be stored (with the other gear I've stolen )and used against you at a later date. Alroight?

Psychological insight:

I assumed that the suitcase belonged to a beautiful, slim, young woman and not to:

a paper-bag job
a chubster
a pensioner or
a poof

Methinks I'm just an optimist.

@DP - I hope with the sharp p++++s comment you weren't referring to financial industry professionals. You could offend half my readers. (the other one is pretty thick skinned).

@70s - decoy dildos.. what will Osama BL think of next...

@UDH - You must be mistaken. I meant nothing against the population of beautiful, historic, culturific Birmingham or its charming inhabitants.

@Trywalker - I haven't heard of Brummies described as 'vibrating tools' before, but I have a feeling that may be buzzing around my brain for a while...

@Jay - I can't imagine what people take in their hand luggage on package tours through BIA. I'd imagine some of the items are a lot more dangerous than the tube of toothpaste I had to throw away because I didn't have a clear plastic bag!

@laog - phsychological evaluation: Can I remind you that the bag was passing through Birmingham airport. There's optimism, there's blind faith, and then there's just downright delusion.

Delusion it is...but happy delusion!
