Phriday Photo XXXVIII
I've been known to pick up a pencil or a paintbrush on occasion, and not always with disastrous results. However, I have always been in awe of pavement artists - out in the elements with the most unforgiving of canvasses, usually drawing on a huge scale, and at the end of it only pennies and a photo to show for it. Respect.
I viewed your post in work today but the images wouldn't open but I knew what images you had put up there after tNb's comment....how talented and awesome (oh and so unsung and intransigent? ) is this artist .....

70s teen: "unsung and intransigent?"
Fair suck of the sarsparilla!
1 the art, is, by its existence, transitory. That's the whole point!
2 pennies, yes - but as an apprenticeship, one year should set any of them up for a fab career in commercial art.
3 what a great way to meet girls!
@tnb - I'm sure a good pout makes you the perfect muse for papersurfer ;-)
@DP - that's a relief.
@70s - bundles of talent for sure - not sure it's all the work of one artist though.
@laog - :-) I do love your Antipodean take on things, and of course you a right. A means to an end...!
I'm stunned by pavement art, too! Over here, they've started to draw on canvasses lying on the ground, so they can roll them up and take them home!
I wonder if any of those artists could paint me two fake eBay screens? I could have a LOT of fun with that....
@Jay - take your pavement art home with you.. if only I'd have thought of that! :-)
@UDH boy - sure, no problem. I can also help with painting over toxic debt cracks if you like?
