Apathy (usually about work)is said to be one of Australia's national characteristics. Here are some stand-up lines I wrote:
Did you hear about the Aussie taxidermist?
He couldn't give a stuff.
Did you hear about the Aussie with diarrhea?
He couldn't give a shit.
Did you hear about the Aussie hooker?
She couldn't give a f*ck.
etc.
